Description
Star Wars Poch Darth Vader CAS 75+ & R2-D2 CAS 70+ Loose (Poch, 1980s). Few pairings feel more foundational to Star Wars than Darth Vader and R2-D2, one the black-armored face of the Empire, the other the saga's indispensable astromech witness from the opening moments of A New Hope onward. Seen here in early Spanish Poch-era production, they bring that core character chemistry into one of the line's most closely studied international variant branches, where familiar Kenner sculpts pick up the distinct assembly and paint traits that give Poch figures their separate identity. Darth Vader is graded CAS 75+, with a true grade of 78.8. R2-D2 is graded CAS 70+, with a true grade of 73.8. Both include Statements of Archival. For the international variant collector, this hits a sweet spot: two cornerstone Star Wars characters, two early Spanish productions, and two pieces that make the familiar feel just a little stranger.More Information: Poch (Spain):
The Poch era refers to the earliest phase of Spanish Star Wars figure distribution following the 1980 formation of PBP, S.A. It was established in 1980 under the direction of General Mills, with participation from Daniel Poch, Manuel Borrás, and Antonio Palouzié, consolidating their interests for Spanish Star Wars production and distribution. Poch, a long-established Spanish toy brand, retained strong market recognition and continued to appear on packaging during this transitional period. Early Spanish figures from this phase were typically assembled and finished domestically using imported Hong Kong–molded Kenner parts. Paint application and assembly characteristics from this period distinguish these early Spanish releases within International variant collecting.

Auction Type
Signature Internet Extended Bid: These auctions are presented only online and bidding is only taken through our website. There are two phases of bidding during this type of auction: 1) Normal bidding: Bids are taken up until 7:00 PM CT the night the auction closes. 2) 15 Minute Ending: On a lot-by-lot basis, starting at 7:00 PM CT, any person who has bid on the lot previously may continue to bid on that lot until there are no more bids for 15 minutes. For example, if you bid on a lot during Normal Bidding, you could participate during Extended Bidding for that lot, but not on lots you did not bid on previously. If a bid was placed at 7:03, the new end time for that lot would become 7:18. If no other bids were placed before 7:18, the lot would close. If you are the high bidder on a lot, changing your bid will not extend the bidding during the 15 Minute Ending phase (only a bid from another bidder will extend bidding). If you are the only bidder at 7 PM, you will automatically win the lot at 7:15. Important: After normal bidding ends, you must be signed-on to the Heritage site to see the bidding option on lots where you qualify for extended bidding and you must be on an individual lot page to reflect the accurate time remaining for that particular lot.
