Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Scratch CAS 70 (Playmates, 1993). Among the most infamous of all Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures, Scratch the cat burglar appeared late in the line's run in 1993 as part of Series 6. Carded on a 54-back, the figure was released in extremely limited distribution near the twilight of the brand's peak years. With his striped prison uniform, ball and chain, and unique accessories, Scratch quickly became one of the scarcest and most sought-after characters in the entire Playmates catalog-a status that has only grown over time. This example has been graded CAS 70 with subgrades of C75 B70 F85, resulting in a True Grade of 72.2. While moderate wear is present on the card and bubble, the figure itself presents at a strong F85, making it a solid surviving specimen of a figure rarely encountered sealed at all. Few pieces of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles history inspire the same level of collector excitement as Scratch. Long regarded as a grail of the line, his rarity and mystique make even mid-grade examples highly desirable. This is a chance to capture one of the true legends of 1990s action figure collecting.
