Description
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Lot of 6 - Oozey & 5 Figures (Playmates, 1990-91). This Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles lot contains the Oozey and 5 unique figures released by Playmates in 1990 and 1991. Included in the lot are Donatello Storage Shell, Tokka, T.D. Tossin' Leo, Skateboardin' Mike, Shell Slammin' Mike and the Oozey all come in their original packaging with some wear.Shell Slammin' Mike's unpunched card has significant folding along the left side with creasing from the top through the center of the card. There is surface wear in the lower right corner with additional stress from where the bubble attaches to the card back. The bubble is clear with minor scratching and scuffing but is slightly lifted off the card on the bottom.
Skateboardin' Mike's unpunched card has a a notable bend with creasing in the upper left corner and waving extending to the upper right corner. A small surface fold appears in the lower right corner, accompanied by additional stress at the point where the bubble attaches to the card back. The bubble remains clear, though it has minor scratching and scuffing, and is slightly lifted from the card at the bottom.
T.D Tossin' Leo's unpunched card displays an upward bend with creasing from the center to the upper left corner and surface wear in the bottom right corner. On the back, there's a small dent in the center left, with additional creasing near where the bubble attaches. The clear bubble shows crushing in the top right corner and along the left side from top to bottom. It is also slightly lifted at the bottom. Throughout, the bubble exhibits additional scratching and scuffing.
Tokka's unpunched card has a dent in the right corner with significant waving throughout. The left corner is also slightly bent with creasing seen on the back right side with addition stress from where the bubble is attached to the card back. The clear bubble has a small dent at the top and is slightly lifted off the card back along the bottom.
Storage Shell Donatello's unpunched card has minor edge and corner wear with light stressing from where the bubble is attached to the card back. The bubble is clear with scuffing and scratch marks observed throughout.
Oozey's box shows notable wear along the left side, including a small surface tear and tape residue on the top flap. The bottom front right corner features creasing and a slight fold. Additionally, the bottom of the box and the right corner are slightly caving inward, accompanied by further creasing. Please enlarge photos to view all details. Mark Freedman, the president of Surge Licensing, originally pitched the idea of licensing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird for a toy line which resulted in the deal with Playmates Toys.
