Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Lot of 12 Figures (Playmates, 1989-92). This Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles lot contains 12 figures in damaged packaging, all released by Playmates between 1989 and 1992. Each is sealed unused in the original package. The cards may have bending, creases, and wear and some bubbles have crushing. There may be some minor bubble lifts, but all are still solidly attached to the cards. Please enlarge photos to view all details. The lot is sold "as is" in regard to package condition.From the collection of Mark Freedman.
Mark Freedman, the president of Surge Licensing, originally pitched the idea of licensing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird for a toy line which resulted in the deal with Playmates Toys.
