Description
Super Powers Collection Lot of 4 (Kenner, 1985). With DC's triumph in the comic book industry, a move to dominate the toy shelves was inevitable. After parting ways with Mego, the license to produce toys based on DC characters was acquired by Kenner, which was still enjoying the success of Star Wars. Kenner embraced this opportunity, featuring iconic packaging and drawing from various aspects of the expansive DC Universe.This Super Powers Collection lot includes four series 2 figures, each released by Kenner in 1985. Included are Darkseid, Dr. Fate, Mantis, and Martian Manhunter. Each figure is sealed on a Series 2 / 23 back card with the Superman cape offer. The cards display handling wear along the edges and corners, with creasing, bends, and scuffing. The protective bubbles display dents, scratching, or partial detachment from the card.
