Street Sharks Killamari Figure, Ripster Remote Control, & Rip Rider Motorcycle (Mattel, 1995). This Street Sharks lot contains 3 unique figures released by Mattel in 1995. Included are the Street Sharks remote control Ripster, Series 1 Killamari figure, and the Rip Rider motorcycle. All three collectibles comes sealed in their original packaging. The remote control Ripster shows edge and corner wear, including creasing in the front upper and lower right corners. The cellophane has small holes in the upper right and left corners with additional creasing, scratching, and scuffing. There is also edge wear along the top of the left and right side panels. The Killamari's box has creasing on the front, right, and left sides, with a small surface tear on the lower right. The left side panel has creases in the upper and center-right areas, and light creasing near the back where the hanger attaches. The Rip Rider Motorcycle box exhibits edge and corner wear, with creasing on the top, side column, and top right corner of the right side, as well as a surface tear in the bottom center. The left top and column also show creasing. The back has a small Velcro piece in the bottom center, and the bottom of the box has a tear with creasing on the lower right side. These three Street Sharks collectibles are in Fair to Good condition.From the collection of Mark Freedman.
Mark Freedman, the president of Surge Licensing, originally pitched the idea of licensing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird for a toy line which resulted in the deal with Playmates Toys. Mark was also a producer of the Street Sharks animated series and handled licensing of the branded products and toys.
