The Uzay R5-D4 is one of the most recognizable and celebrated figures from Turkey's unlicensed Star Wars line-a series revered for its eccentric colors, inconsistent quality, and unmistakable personality. Released around 1988, the figure was modeled on Kenner's original sculpt but features the characteristic Uzay reinterpretation: stark red and white decal work, thicker paint applications, and plastics that vary in tone from example to example. Each figure was hand-assembled under small-scale production, giving every surviving piece a sense of individuality that few licensed runs could replicate.
