Deck the halls with mischief and mayhem-this Star Wars Salacious Crumb Happy Holidays Mini Bust, crafted by Gentle Giant in 2005, is a rare behind-the-scenes gem that was never made available to the general public. Created exclusively as a holiday gift for Gentle Giant's clients, this collectible captures Jabba the Hutt's cackling court jester with uncanny authenticity and a festive twist. The design is delightfully irreverent: Salacious Crumb wears a bright red Santa hat, clutches a damaged and decapitated C-3PO head, and is adorned with a string of colorful holiday lights draped around his neck. He perches smugly atop a plush red pillow accented with green foliage, all mounted on a circular black display base, individually labeled on the bottom of the base as 1 of only 200 produced.
Utilizing laser scans from original Lucasfilm costumes and props, the bust was brought to life through digital modeling, precise sculpting, and expert hand-painting by Gentle Giant's team of artisans. So beloved was this mischievous holiday figure that it sparked the release of a follow-up Collector's Club Edition Mini Bust in 2006, limited to 2,500 pieces-now highly sought after as well. This original holiday version remains securely stored in its Styrofoam casing inside the original shipping box, which shows expected wear including corner dents, bends, scratches, and scuffing. Equal parts cheeky and collectible, this piece is a perfect blend of Star Wars whimsy and Gentle Giant craftsmanship.
