Star Wars: Droids Promotional Illustration by Alice Carter (Lucasfilm/Nelvana, 1986). Created for promotional material for the cult-classic animated series Star Wars: Droids, this is an action-packed original illustration by Alice "Bunny" Carter. This series was produced by Nelvana on behalf of Lucasfilm and broadcast on ABS with its sister series Ewoks. It follows the adventures of R2 and 3PO between the events of Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. A great image of (from left to right) Kea Moll, Thall Joben, C-3PO, Jord Dusat, and R2-D2 pursued by a battle droid! The piece is masterfully rendered in gouache on a substantial 22.5" x 17" board with an acetate linework overlay. Overall minor handling and edge wear with some tape and scuffing on edges. The condition is Very Good.

More Information: Alice A. (Bunny) Carter is an award-winning artist, author and academic. Her illustration clients have included Lucasfilm Ltd., Rolling Stone magazine, The New York Times, and ABC Television. Her work has been exhibited nationally at galleries and museums such as the New York Society of Illustrators Museum of American Illustration, The Norman Rockwell Museum, the Art Institute of Houston, the Delaware Museum of Art, and the New Britain Museum.
