Star Wars Die Cast Y-Wing Fighter (Kenner, 1979). The Star Wars Die-Cast Y-Wing Fighter, released by Kenner in 1979, is a detailed miniature replica of the iconic Rebel Alliance starfighter from Star Wars: A New Hope. Measuring about 5 inches long, the iconic fighter is crafted from durable die-cast metal and plastic to capture the ship's rugged, skeletal design, including features like removeable engine nacelles and a rotating rear gun turret. The Y-Wing remains sealed in its original packaging, which displays handling wear along the edges and corners. Each corner shows creasing, with additional creasing along the bottom left and center of the tray. The front right edge exhibits further creasing, along with small dents and surface wear. Horizontal creasing runs across the top of the bottom panel, while the top left corner shows surface wear with a small hole. A tear is also present in the back right corner, with scuffing and scratching wear throughout. The bubble remains firmly attached but shows scratching and scuffing wear.
