Star Wars Die Cast Darth Vader's Tie Fighter & Tie Fighter (Kenner, 1978). This Star Wars lot features two Die-Cast Imperial TIE Fighters released by Kenner in 1978, Darth Vader's TIE Fighter and the standard TIE Fighter. The Darth Vader TIE Fighter is distinct with its curved solar panels and sleek dark gray design, reflecting the menacing presence of the Sith Lord. The standard TIE Fighter features the classic hexagonal panel design and light gray coloring, emblematic of the Galactic Empire's fleet. Both starfighters remain sealed in their original packaging, which exhibits handling wear consistent with age. The TIE Fighter's card displays noticeable waviness, folding, and creasing throughout, with a tear at the bottom of the bubble and surface scratching and scuffing. Darth Vader's TIE Fighter card shows handling wear with price sticker residue in the upper right corner and a yellowed bubble featuring additional scratches and scuffs. The back of each card mirrors the wear seen on the front, with additional creasing, including stress marks from the bubble attachments. These vintage die cast pieces offer a glimpse into the early days of Kenner's Star Wars collectibles.
