Star Wars Chewbacca 12 Back B (Kenner, 1978). The Star Wars Chewbacca figure was released by Kenner in 1978 alongside the first Star Wars film, "A New Hope." Chewbacca is sealed on a Star Wars 12 back B card with wear. Chewbacca's card displays edge and corner wear with small bends in each of the corners. The lower right corner has significant creasing, with an additional crease line along the lower center edge. The protective bubble shows dents on the top panel and both sides, along with a small dent in the bottom left corner. Light scratching and scuffing are present throughout. The back of the card mirrors the edge and corner wear of the front, with creasing in the lower left and center due to bubble attachment stress. There is additional creasing in the lower right corner and scuffing throughout. The Kenner Star Wars collection marked a pivotal moment in the history of action figure collecting, paving the path for a wave of toy franchises that dominated the 1980s.
