Description

Star Wars 12" Series Boba Fett AFA 80 ** 2nd Highest Grade ** (Kenner, 1979). Long before the bounty hunter's sparse screen time blossomed into books, comics, and streaming lore, Kenner's 12" Boba Fett let kids helm the Slave I from their living-room floor. Standing over a foot tall, this early figure carries the unmistakable dented helmet, braided Wookiee scalps, and rocket-pack that turned a background extra into a pop-culture icon. **This is the first release of the Boba Fett 12-inch figure and was the last figure issued as part of Wave 2 in late 1979. He was later repackaged in an Empire Strikes Back-branded box for the subsequent re-release. Graded AFA 80 NM with subgrades of B75 W80 F80 and noted as the second-highest example on record, there are only 4 examples graded higher. As is common with this packaged figure, the elastic bands that once secured the figure to the backer card have dried and no longer hold him in place, a condition taken into account during grading. This piece preserves rich Mandalorian colors and the missile-firing mystique that once fueled playground rumors of "the rocket that really launched." For collectors building a vintage bounty-hunter display-or simply chasing the era when Star Wars toys matched their on-screen scale-this Boba delivers legendary swagger backed by elite pedigree.
