LEGO Star Wars Darth Vader Black Chrome LE (53/100) Toy Fair 2009 Exclusive with VIP Badge (LEGO, 2009). One of the rarest LEGO Star Wars promotional exclusives ever produced, this Black Chrome Darth Vader was distributed in extremely limited quantities at Toy Fair 2009, with only 100 units given exclusively to VIP attendees. Housed in a specially designed display case, this figure features a striking chrome black finish and commemorates the enduring popularity of Darth Vader within LEGO's Star Wars line, which was celebrating its 10th anniversary at the time. This example includes the original display case and the accompanying numbered VIP badge, which identifies the recipient's set number and variant. The badge was produced in four different versions, each featuring unique color combinations of the Darth Vader graphic with only 25 of each variation made. This one is the orange and blue variant, individually numbered #53/100, and remains one of the most desirable versions among collectors. While the case has some mild scuffing, the minifig inside remains untouched. These exclusives were never made available to the public and remain a grail item for high-end LEGO and Star Wars collectors alike.
