Superior U.S. Naval Base Playset (Cohn, 1950s). Produced by Cohn during the 1950s, this Superior U.S. Naval Base Playset represents the company's output of large-format military-themed play environments from the postwar era. The set was designed as a comprehensive naval installation, with molded plastic components arranged to suggest docks, structures, and operational areas associated with a mid-century U.S. Navy base. Playsets of this type emphasized layout and scale, allowing multiple vehicles and figures to be incorporated into a single cohesive setting, and were packaged as self-contained environments intended for extended play. The box shows moderate wear along the edges, with scuffing and dents present, and moderate scuffing and crushing at the corners. The box surfaces exhibit significant wear, including scuffing, creasing, and staining. The contents remain unused and sealed in the box.
