Street Sharks Ripster (Mattel, 1994). This Street Sharks Ripster figure was produced as part of Series 1 by Mattel and was the first figure released of the leader of the Street Sharks. The figure is sealed in the original package which has light corner and edge wear. There are 2 small creases on the left side panel and the hanger is bent with a crease along the box back. Mark Freedman, the president of Surge Licensing, originally pitched the idea of licensing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird for a toy line which resulted in the deal with Playmates Toys.
