Stingray Model Sets (Fairylite/Lonestar/Doyusha, 1964-07). These Stingray model sets, a lot of three, were released by various companies including Fairylite, Lone Star, and Doyusha between 1964 and 2007, based on the classic 1960s British television series Stingray, which follows the underwater adventures of Captain Troy Tempest and his submarine crew as they protect Earth's oceans. The collection includes the Stingray Atomic Submarine Model Kit #03401, released by Doyusha in 2007, featuring the iconic submarine factory-sealed in the original box with English and Japanese text. The box shows handling wear, with scuffing, small dents, creasing, and tears in the cellophane. The Atomic Submarine measures 7.5 by 13.25 by 2 inches. The Stingray Floating Propelled Scale Model, released by Lone Star in 1964, is sealed on its original tray within the original box, which displays handling wear, small dents, creasing, scuffing, and dried tape seals. This model measures 5 by 10 by 2 inches. Lastly, the Stingray Friction Motor Scale Model, released by Fairylite in 1964, includes the original box and cardboard insert, with noticeable handling wear, vertical creasing, and small dents.
