This Monkey Division set represents Remco's early-1960s line of military dress-up accessories, produced to let kids physically step into the role of a Monkey Division soldier. Issued in 1963, the set includes a toy machete with scabbard, along with a mess kit and canteen, evoking jungle and field-survival themes that were common in youth adventure play of the era. These items were designed for wear and handling by children, aligning with Remco's broader strategy of immersive role-play products that extended beyond traditional action figures and vehicles. The cardback shows mild scuffing and denting along the edges, with moderate scuffing and crushing to the corners.
