Hard Corps Series 2 & 3 Villains Action Figure Prototypes (Drastic Plastic. 1994). The Hard Corps Series 2 and 3 Villains action figure prototypes was produced by Drastic Plastic in 1994. This collection includes Series 2 figures Rhokar and BaRaagg, and from Series 3, Plate and Saur. These prototypes are replicas of the original sculpts. BaRaagg has glue down its back, wear at its shins, and four head spikes that have come unglued but are included, while Rhokar's left arm, head-horn, and torso joints are broken. Saur features an arm cannon that has come unglued and displays wear on his left arm and lower left leg. Additionally, the collection includes six preproduction photos, with two each for Rhokar, BaRaagg, and Saur. The Drastic Plastic Hard Corps figure line represents a specific moment in the history of action figures, characterized by detailed, theme-oriented design and the attempt of smaller companies to carve out their niche in a competitive market.
