Hamilton's Invaders: Battle of the Monsters Sears Playset (Remco, 1964). Among the most ambitious toy tie-ins of the early 1960s, Remco's Hamilton's Invaders line tapped directly into America's monster craze with oversized insects, vehicles, and blue plastic defenders. This Sears-exclusive "Battle of the Monsters" set brought together the line's core figures, vehicles, and the vividly lithographed "Invaders Cave," giving young commanders an instant battlefield. The playset was a short-run retailer exclusive, making complete examples especially sought after today. This set is missing one helicopter bomb and the tank missiles but is otherwise complete, including the rarely surviving Invaders Cave display piece. The original Sears box is present, though in heavily worn condition, with missing panels, tears, staining, and overall fragility.
