Sponsored by Aurora, Universal Pictures, and Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine, the contest rewarded top entries with this striking 3D vacuform Frankenstein plaque. Rendered in vivid color with a molded portrait of Karloff's iconic Monster, it was both a trophy and a badge of honor-proof of model kit mastery during the height of Aurora's monster mania. Condition shows moderate to heavy wear consistent with age and display.
