G.I. Joe Tiger Force Duke (v2) AFA 80 (Hasbro, 1988). Duke was already one of the defining faces of A Real American Hero by the time this Tiger Force version was released in 1988. As the field leader of the Joe team, Conrad S. Hauser was one of the brand's core heroic figures, and this release places him into Tiger Force, the specialized unit known for its bold striped camouflage and jungle assault identity. Issued as part of the seventh series, Tiger Force Duke keeps the character's command-role appeal intact while giving him one of the most immediately recognizable decos of the late vintage line. The filecard identifies him as the team's "First Sergeant" and "Squad Leader," and he remained in the domestic lineup through 1989 before being discontinued in 1990. Graded AFA 80 NM, with subgrades of C80 B80 F80. Duke always felt like the Joe you wanted out front when the mission got rough, calm under pressure and built to lead from the front.
