Description

G.I. Joe Snake Eyes (v4) with Combat Pay & Universal Studios Offer AFA 70 (Hasbro, 1991). Snake Eyes' Series 10 redesign brought the character into the action-feature era, with an all-new blue-and-gray paint scheme and sculpt with a grappling hook missile launcher promoted by the "Weapon Really Shoots!" card callout. This example is presented with the Combat Pay promotion and Universal Studios offer, tying the 1991 release to the late-run package extras and cross-promotional energy surrounding the line. This piece comes from the Derryl DePriest collection. Graded AFA 70 EX+ with subgrades of C70 B80 F85. By 1991, Snake Eyes had a new color scheme, a missile-launching grappling hook, and a card loud enough to announce what he never would.
