Description

G.I. Joe Sky Patrol Sky SHARC AFA 80 ** Pop 4 Third Highest Graded Example ** (Hasbro, 1990). Released in 1990 as part of the Sky Patrol subset, the Sky SHARC reworked the classic SHARC vehicle design into the team's distinctive silver chrome parachute assault style. Sky Patrol reflected the line's continued emphasis on specialized subteams during the early 1990s, combining redecoed classic molds with the highly reflective chrome aesthetic that defined the assortment. Certified AFA 80 NM, this example ranks as a Pop 4 at the grade according to the AFA population report and stands as the third highest graded recorded, with only three graded higher. The Sky SHARC remains one of the more recognizable vehicle redecos from the Sky Patrol lineup, adapting one of the vintage line's best-known aquatic vehicles into the more stylized direction of the 1990 assortment.
