Description

G.I. Joe Ninja Force Snake Eyes (v5) with Printed Warning (White Text) AFA 75+ (Hasbro, 1993). Snake Eyes was released in Series 12 as part of the 1993 Ninja Force subset, giving G.I. Joe's silent covert mission specialist a late-run martial-arts figure built around the line's action-feature format. Already defined by Long Range Recon Patrol service, Arashikage training, and an ability to move through danger without being seen or heard, Snake Eyes fits Ninja Force without needing reinvention. This example features the printed white small-parts warning text under the Ninja Force logo, one of three known warning-message formats on Ninja Force cardbacks, along with the warning sticker and the later black text within a gray box to the left of the bubble. Originating from the collection of former Hasbro executive Derryl DePriest. Graded AFA 75+ EX+/NM with subgrades of C75 B75 F85, with only four graded examples listed on the population report. This package has a bold white warning label, which is more notice than Snake Eye's enemies every received.

More Information: Derryl DePriest is a longtime toy industry executive and pop culture historian who served as Vice President of Global Brand Management at Hasbro from 2001 to 2018, overseeing major initiatives for Star Wars and G.I. Joe during a transformative era for collector-focused product. During his tenure, Hasbro launched key lines including The Vintage Collection and the 6-inch Star Wars: The Black Series, both of which reshaped modern action figure presentation and articulation standards. A lifelong G.I. Joe enthusiast and recognized liaison between Hasbro and the collector community, DePriest later authored Star Wars: The Vintage Collection Archive Edition and has contributed extensively to documenting the history of G.I. Joe. Items offered from his collection reflect the perspective of an executive who helped guide some of the most influential collector-driven brands of the modern era.
