G.I. Joe Major Bludd with Mailer Box AFA 85 ** POP 1, Highest Grade ** (Hasbro, 1983). Cobra's battlefield commander and resident mercenary poet, Major Bludd debuted in 1983 as one of the earliest named Cobra agents in the G.I. Joe line. Known for his cybernetic arm, ruthless tactics, and gravelly presence in both the Sunbow animated series and Marvel comics, Bludd became a central figure in Cobra's early hierarchy. This example is a rare mail-away version, released outside of standard retail packaging during the brand's formative years. Graded AFA 85 with subgrades of B85 W80 F85, this specimen is encased with its original mailer box, along with the bagged figure, file card, mini color catalog, and the original G.I. Joe head and wrist bands offer insert-a complete and beautifully preserved representation of the early mail-in experience. With a population of just 1 at this grade and none higher, it stands as the highest graded example on record, making it a top-tier collector's piece from the dawn of Cobra command.
