Description

G.I. Joe Heavy Duty 22-Back A AFA 80+ ** POP 3, 3rd-Highest Grade ** (Hasbro, 1991). Heavy Duty was introduced as part of Series 10 in 1991, bringing the Joe team a heavy ordnance specialist whose classical guitar training gives him the coordination and concentration needed to operate complex weapons systems under fire. This example is presented on a 22-Back Style A card, identified by the Dusty & Sandstorm image in the upper left of the cardback, before the Style B format revised the top row with six new images. Originating from the collection of former Hasbro executive Derryl DePriest. Graded AFA 80+ NM with subgrades of C80 B85 F90, this example ranks as the third-highest grade on the population report, shared with two others. Heavy Duty hears Bach in the blast pattern, and he doesn't miss a note when the missiles start moving.
