Description

G.I. Joe General Flagg 2-Up Hand-Painted Production Prototype (Hasbro, 1992). This 2-Up paint master was created for General Flagg, released in 1992 as part of the late A Real American Hero line. 2-Ups were oversized development pieces used during the preproduction process, allowing sculpt, detail, and paint applications to be reviewed at a larger scale before final production. As a paint master, this example served as a three-dimensional color reference for the production figure, with a paint scheme and sculpt that closely match the final released General Flagg. The piece is mounted on a display base labeled "Da General". From the personal collection of Chris Murray. As a 2-Up paint master for a named ARAH character, this is a substantial preproduction artifact, preserving the approved sculpt and color direction at the stage where Hasbro's development work was translated into the final retail figure.

More Information: The paint master presents in excellent condition, with some paint flaking around the joints.
