G.I. Joe Battle Force 2000 Sky Sweeper with Super Trooper Offer AFA 75 * Only 2 Graded Examples ** (Hasbro, 1987). Released in late 1987 as part of the Battle Force 2000 subset, the Sky Sweeper Anti-Aircraft Tank represented one component of Hasbro's ambitious "Future Fortress" concept, where all six Battle Force 2000 vehicles could combine into a larger defensive structure. The subset pushed the A Real American Hero line toward increasingly futuristic battlefield concepts and interconnected vehicle systems during one of the more experimental periods of the vintage era. This example has been professionally graded AFA 75 and features the Super Trooper promotional offer packaging. According to the AFA population report, only two examples have been graded. The Sky Sweeper remains a memorable example of the ambitious and highly stylized direction G.I. Joe explored during the late 1980s, when realism increasingly gave way to more exaggerated futuristic battlefield concepts.
