Released at the end of the 1987 Series 6 lineup as part of the Battle Force 2000 subset, Knockdown served as the Sky-Sweeper Driver within one of the more experimental concepts introduced during the vintage era of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero. Battle Force 2000 pushed the line toward increasingly futuristic military hardware and integrated vehicle-team concepts, pairing specialized operators with advanced modular combat machines designed for coordinated battlefield deployment. Graded AFA 70+ EX+ with subgrades of Card 70, Bubble 80, and Figure 85, this example preserves one of the more visually distinctive releases from the Battle Force 2000 assortment. Knockdown's file card background tied the character to the real-world "Sgt. York" DIVAD anti-aircraft program, blending actual military-development concepts with the science-fiction-oriented direction increasingly embraced by G.I. Joe during the late 1980s.
