G.I. Joe Adventure Team Capture Copter AFA 80 ** Only 2 Graded Examples ** (Hasbro, 1976). The Capture Copter represents a rugged 1976 redesign of the classic Adventure Team Helicopter, marking the final evolution of the original 12-inch era. This version replaced the traditional clear bubble with an armored shield and added versatile pontoons, allowing the Adventure Team Commander to transition seamlessly from air to water. The front-mounted heavy-duty grabber and stark black colorway gave the vehicle a dangerous edge, specifically designed to snatch up the "pesky Intruders" that threatened the team's late-era missions. This example is graded AFA 80 NM and stands as one of only two graded examples currently recorded in the AFA census. For the collector, it evokes the tactile "whir" of the rotor blades and the imaginative aerial maneuvers that defined the sunset of the original G.I. Joe line.
