DC Batman, the Joker, & the Penguin Super Savers Banks (Mego, 1974). This lot features a complete trio of DC Comics character banks from Mego's vinyl Super Savers line, released in 1974 as part of the World's Greatest Super Heroes brand. Included are Batman, the Joker, and the Penguin, each measuring approximately 7.5" tall and designed in the likeness of their Bronze Age comic counterparts. The Penguin bank retains its original "Super Savers Bank" decal. Condition varies across the group, with general signs of age-related wear. All three banks show minor surface scuffs and light paint loss, especially around raised edges. Mego's Super Savers banks are among the more display-friendly DC collectibles of the 1970s, often overlooked in favor of the company's 8" figure line. Their comic-accurate sculpts and durable vinyl builds have helped them gain a following among vintage superhero collectors in recent years.
