Description

DC '66 Batmobile Lot of 4 (various, 1966-2004). Few vehicles in pop culture carry the mystique or legacy of the Batmobile, and this four-piece collection traces its evolution from TV tie-in to collector's centerpiece. The group includes the Danbury Mint 1960's Comic Book Batmobile (1:24 scale, 2004), a precision die-cast model faithful to the Silver Age design and housed in its original open box with COA, letter, and promotional flyer. Also featured is the Hot Wheels Super Elite 1:18 Scale 1966 Batmobile, a high-end reproduction of the George Barris television car with display stand. The lot rounds out with two vintage treasures: an AHI Power Command Radio Controlled Batmobile (c.1977), complete with its original transmitter and box, and a vintage Batmobile slot car showing light use. Most items remain unused or lightly handled. The AHI box displays severe wear with large tears, crushing, and scuffing to the edges and windows, though the contents appear intact and unused. The Danbury Mint model is unused and well-preserved; the Hot Wheels display box shows moderate scuffing, denting, and detached interior flaps (included). The vintage slot car is clean and retains strong paint and form though its plastic container has begun to yellow. Together, these pieces embody nearly four decades of Batmobile innovation-from toy-store icon to high-end collector showpiece. Sleek, stylish, and unmistakably Gotham, this lot celebrates the enduring engineering of Batman's most famous ride in all its heroic forms.
