Description

Batman Walkie Talkies & Command Console Lot of 3 (Mego, 1973-77). This trio of vintage Bat-tech captures the peak of 1970s utility belt fever, when toy shelves were stacked with gadgets fit for the Dynamic Duo. The set includes two different walkie-talkie packs and one "Command Console," all decked out in Silver and Bronze Age-style art. The standout is the 1973 solid-state walkie-talkie set, shaped like Batman and Robin themselves, complete with carry straps & a 9-volt. The other walkie-talkie pair from Mego features the Bat Coder units (gray and red) with carded backing, and the command console (also from Mego) includes light-up radar and classic comic panel illustrations across the box. All three items are unused in open boxes. The Bat Coder set's bubble has completely separated from the backing card, which has torn in several places. The package is mostly for show at this point. For the other two items, general wear is present across both packagers with moderate to heavy edge and corner wear, plus surface wear from scuffing, veining, and creasing. See images for further condition details. Items are sold as is. Don't touch that dial - this is a rare opportunity to own three of the most distinctive Batman electronics ever produced during Mego's superhero heyday. Whether you are reenacting rooftop missions or decoding Bat-signals in your secret lair, this rare trio brings authentic Adam West-era camp straight to your cave. Grab this set and channel your inner Boy Wonder - batteries not included, but nostalgia guaranteed.
