Description

Batman Golden Records Complete Boxed Sets (N.P.P., Inc., 1966). Leaping from the height of 1960s superhero fever, this dynamic duo of vintage record sets brings the caped crusader's 1966 pop-culture takeover to life in true Golden Records fashion. Released at the peak of Batmania, both sets-brilliantly packaged in bold red and yellow cases-are vibrant snapshots of Batman's swinging '60s appeal. The red collector's edition is a full-on Bat-experience, featuring the Batman with Robin the Boy Wonder origin story comic and matching LP record that narrates the tale word for word. It also includes a set of official Batman club gear: a crime fighters button, a flicker ring, a secret decoder, and the membership card, all snugly housed in bright, collectible packaging. The yellow set contains the same comic and LP pairing along with a club button and membership card, plus a charmingly framed needlecraft portrait of Batman suited up in his iconic blue and gray. The collectible sets display handling wear along the edges and corners with softened corners, creasing in the corners of the yellow set, along with surface scratching and scuffing wear throughout. A vivid celebration of mid-century superhero fandom, this pair stands as a charming reminder of how Batman captivated imaginations across page, sound, and style.
