Description

Batman 1989 Life-Size Cowl Prop Replica (Hollywood Collectibles Group, 2014). Summon the shadowy mystique of Gotham's dark protector with this striking Batman lot, showcasing the legendary 1989 Batman Cowl as worn by Michael Keaton in Tim Burton's genre-defining film. Released by Hollywood Collectibles Group in 2014 and masterfully sculpted by Emmy Award-winner Hiroshi Katagiri, this life-size fiberglass replica stands an impressive 20 inches tall and delivers a screen-accurate reproduction of the iconic headpiece from the moment Batman first confronted Jack Napier in the infamous Axis Chemicals showdown. Numbered 365/750, the cowl rests atop a sleek Batwing-shaped display stand and includes a laminated prop history insert with certificate of authenticity. Though designed for display only and not to be worn, this replica is clean and free of blemishes, still capturing every brooding contour of the original. It comes housed in its original packaging, secure in Styrofoam casing that has been previously opened and displayed. The box shows signs of handling wear, including edge and corner scuffing, corner bends, and surface scratches. A centerpiece worthy of any Batcave, this collectible channels the cinematic legacy of Keaton's Batman and the dark brilliance of Burton's Gotham.
