Battlestar Galactica 12" Figures Cylon Centurian & Colonial Warrior - Open Boxes (Mattel, 1978). This two-piece lot brings together the central opposing forces of Mattel's 1978 Battlestar Galactica line, pairing the chrome-domed Cylon Centurion with the Colonial Warrior in larger 12-inch scale. Mattel's 12-inch assortment was a small one, consisting of just these two figures, which gives the pairing a clean, complete quality as a hero-and-villain snapshot of the original series at the height of its first-wave merchandising push. The boxes show moderate overall wear, with scuffing, dents, creasing, abrasions, tape residue from lifting, and some corner crushing. The Colonial Warrior box also has significant water damage, causing staining and warping. Both windows show moderate scuffing and are separated from the box along the top edges. The items themselves appear unused and complete in the open boxes. By your command, this Colonial-and-Cylon pairing belongs in any serious Battlestar Galactica collection.
