Description

G.I. Joe Series 1 Rock 'n Roll, Breaker, or Clutch Head 2-Up Hard Copy Prototype (Hasbro, 1982). This unpainted 2-up resin hard copy head represents an early enlarged production-stage sculpt created during the inaugural year of the A Real American Hero line. Produced at twice the size of the final retail figure, 2-up hard copies were used during the sculpting and tooling process to evaluate character details before reduction to production scale. From the collection of Derryl DePriest and accompanied by a corresponding COA. The sculpt was used for Breaker, Clutch, and Rock 'n Roll in the original 1982 lineup, linking the piece to three members of the inaugural A Real American Hero assortment. As an enlarged preproduction sculpt, it provides a look at a character design shared across multiple figures during the launch year of the line.

More Information: Piece has significant scuffing and abrasion, including a chipped nose.
