About Extended Bidding Auctions

Actions Figures and Photography - Entertainment/Historical Auctions : End of regular bidding: 7pm CT

Non-Sports Cards Auctions: End of regular bidding: 9pm CT

Heritage's Extended bidding auctions are presented only online and bidding is only taken through HA.com. There are two phases of bidding during this type of auction:

  1. Normal bidding: Anyone may bid on any lot up until the end of regular bidding on the night the auction closes. For Actions Figures and Photography - Entertainment/Historical Auctions, the end of regular bidding is 7PM CT, and for Non-Sports Cards Auctions, the end of regular bidding is 9PM CT.
  2. 15 Minute Ending: On a lot-by-lot basis, starting once regular bidding has ended, any person who has bid on the lot previously may continue to bid on that lot until there are no more bids for 15 minutes. If you place a bid on a lot during Normal Bidding, you can participate during Extended Bidding for that lot, but not on lots you did not bid on previously. For example, if regular bidding ends at 7PM and an eligible bidder places a new bid at 7:03, the new end time for that lot would become 7:18. Then, if no other bids are placed before 7:18, the lot would close, but if another bidder places a bid, the new end time will change to 15 minutes after the last bid. If you are the high bidder on a lot, changing your bid will not extend the bidding during the 15 Minute Ending phase (only a bid from another bidder will extend bidding). If you are the only bidder at 7 PM, you will automatically win the lot at 7:15.

Important : After normal bidding ends, you must be signed-on to the Heritage site to see the bidding option on lots where you qualify for extended bidding.
