Driven by a lifelong passion for the arts and holding BA and MA degrees in Art History and Art Management, Sara has extensive experience in the art and auction industry across Italy and the UK. She joined Heritage Auctions when the London office first opened in 2017, and has been instrumental in its growth and success. Following her promotion to Managing Director, the office not only saw a substantial increase in the volume of material handled, but also relocated to a larger space to accommodate expanding operations.
In her current role, Sara manages the UK operations and collaborates closely with Heritage Auctions' global offices. She is responsible for working with the company’s top clients in the UK, and represents Heritage at both national and international industry events. Sara is committed to delivering exemplary customer service, continuously enhancing the prestigious Heritage experience for clients throughout the UK and Europe.

Alastair McCrea joined Heritage
in April 2024 following 15 years in Entertainment auctions.
Growing up in Ireland in a
creative family, his love for movie and music memorabilia grew. Moving to
England to study, Alastair gained a Masters in Photography and then started his
auction journey. He has had the privilege to work with some fantastic collections
from Shepperton and Bray studios. Alastair is very much a people person and
wants clients to feel at ease through the auction process.

of James Bond memorabilia, Alastair is keen to speak to you regarding your
collections in the world of Entertainment.

Since 2015, Sophie has been an avid numismatist. Starting off by casually collecting commemorative 50ps and £2 coins quickly evolved into establishing a collection featuring almost 1,500 coins to date.
After being unable to sit exams due to the Covid-19 pandemic, she pursued higher education by completing the American Numismatic Association's Diploma Program, achieving Honours and High Honours in most of her exams.
Undertaking a jewelry-making & designing course for the following year allowed her to pursue her creative side whilst also expanding her knowledge of precious metals and hallmarks. Her skills in computer-aided design meant that her design for a commemorative staff pin was chosen to be made in silver, and one gold-plated pin was presented by Sophie directly to King Charles III when they met during his visit to The Goldsmiths' Centre in November 2022.
Looking to expand her knowledge in numismatics wherever she can, Sophie was the first international student to attend Witter Coin University in San Francisco - a week-long coin course dedicated to help educate young numismatists and taught by some of the top people in the industry.
Carolyn Mani's background includes twenty-four years of experience in both live and online auctions, as well as an extensive background in appraising and vetting Furniture and Decorative Arts, Fine Art, Collectibles, Musical Instruments and Entertainment Memorabilia.
Prior to joining Heritage, Carolyn was Director and Auctioneer at Bonhams (Butterfields). She oversaw the estate department for more than ten years, established a proven track record in working with large consignments and institutions and was an accredited member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA). She is currently a certified USPAP appraiser.
Most recently, she has brought to auction the celebrity estates of Shirley Temple Black, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Trini Lopez and Phyllis McGuire with outstanding white glove results.
As an auctioneer she has raised millions of dollars and provided auction services to numerous charities including John Wayne Cancer Society, Stars for a Cause, The LOOC foundation, Wheels for Humanity, The Beverly Hills Bar Association Barristers, The Chrysalis Foundation, Project Angel Food, Cancer Treatment Centers of America, The Chuck Jones Center for Creativity, Ed Asner Family Foundation and many others.
