Heritage Acquires Odyssey Auctions

Dallas, Texas: Heritage Galleries & Auctioneers www.HeritageGalleries.com has purchased the assets of Odyssey Auctions. Those assets include the auction rights to the popular Dallas Guitar Show. All of the current consignments will be offered at the regularly scheduled April 17-18, 2004 auction being held at the 27th Annual Dallas Guitar Show & MusicFest at Market Hall in Dallas. Future auctions will be held under the name Heritage-Odyssey. Continuing its auction expansion into additional collectible specialties, Heritage Galleries & Auctioneers is the world's largest auctioneer of collectibles, and is privately owned. Odyssey Auctions and the Dallas Guitar Show auction rights were purchased by Heritage from Collectors Universe, Inc. (trading on NASDAQ - CLCT).
