Beatles Hey Jude RIAA White Mat Gold Record Sales Award (Apple SW-385, 1970). A collection of non-album singles and B-sides. The title was changed from The Beatles Again at the last minute to take advantage of the hit song and many copies of the album were sold with that incorrect title on the label. According to the plaque beneath the gold disc, this award was "Presented to The Beatles to Commemorate the Sale of More Than One Million Dollars Worth of the Apple Records Long-Playing Record Album 'Hey Jude'". Framed in gold-trimmed walnut to an overall 17.5" x 21.5". Small areas of dampstaining at lower edge and a few minor dings in the frame. Fine condition overall.Loading guides...
