Description

A Joan Crawford Caricature by Vitch from The Brown Derby Restaurant, Circa 1930s. Rendered in black and red ink on paper, featuring a stylized image of the star, her black fountain pen ink signature in the lower right corner reads "To The Brown Derby / and Vitch / Success to both / from / Joan Crawford;" further signed by the artist in same area; in its original black wooden frame; one of the many great sketches that hung on the walls of the famous Brown Derby restaurant in Los Angeles. (Please note there are slight circular stains in the curls of Joan's hair as well as by her signature and the paper is yellowed and brittle due to age.)
