Nightmare Alley (Fox Searchlight, 2021), Bradley Cooper "Stanton Carlisle" Screen Used Sketchbook and Notebook of Human Cues & Tricks. Prop "Standard Notebook", measuring 5.75" x 8.5", filled with printed sketches by Stanton Carlisle (Bradley Cooper) appearing to be drawn in pencil. There are 39 pages in the book featuring various sketches of characters, animals, carnival attractions, including The House of Damnation, Zeena the Mentalist, Zizi Pinhead, Molly's electric chair, etc. Included with Stanton's 3.5" x 5.25" leather-bound book filled with his handwritten notes (printed) featuring diagrams and notes, depicting his comprehensive mentalism methods, sleight of hand card tricks, and numerous techniques of deception such as ghost materialization, spirit lights, and other parlor tricks. Affixed to the front and back endboards are larger fold-out pages featuring diagrams and notes. Both books serve as a resource delving into Stanton's mind and embody the film's themes of illusion and morality. There are duplicate images/entries present in both books. Books exhibit intentional studio distress; the notebook of tricks has some leaves that are loose. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
