Marcus Welby, M.D. (Universal TV, 1969-1976), Outstanding Dramatic Program Emmy Nomination Plaque. Vintage original Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Emmy Award nomination laminated wooden PermaPlaque certificate presented to producers David Victor and David J. O'Connell for Outstanding Dramatic Program for Marcus Welby, M.D. for the 1969-1970 award season. Starring Robert Young as the title character and James Brolin as the straight-laced Kiley, Marcus Welby, M.D. followed the differing professional styles between partners at a family practice. The Season 1 Pilot Episode, "Hello, Goodbye, Hello" was nominated by the Academy to represent the series, and won at that season's ceremony. Plaque measures 10" x 11.5", retaining original hardware to verso and exhibiting light age and wear. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
