Description

Back to the Future Part II (Universal, 1989), Cast Signed Replica "Mr. Fusion Home Energy Reactor". Replica "Mr. Fusion Home Energy Reactor" power source device from Back to the Future II, constructed of vacuum-formed styrene and acrylic made to resemble a Krups coffee grinder, as seen in the second installment of the beloved time-traveling franchise starring Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly and Christopher Lloyd as Doc Brown. At the end of the first film and again at the beginning the second, this wonderfully creative prop appears and is used by Doc Brown to provide a new, more efficient source of time-traveling energy - an improvement on the mercurial and dangerous-to-acquire plutonium originally used to power the DeLorean. Instead, the Mr. Fusion Home Energy Reactor could be powered by everyday household items including banana peels, beer, even the beer can itself. Item measures approx. 12.5" x 10" x 9" including a stepped circular base with static hinge openings to replicate a movable lid. Features 10- cast signatures from both films in blue felt tip including Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox), Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd), Biff (Tom Wilson), Lorraine (Lea Thomspon), Jennifer Parker (Claudia Wells), Match (Billy Zane), Marvin Berry (Harry Waters Jr.), Milton Baines (Jason Hervey), Goldie Wilson (Donald Fullilove), and Strickland (James Tolkan). Exhibiting age and wear including some scuffs to the plastic and areas of smudging to the signatures. Comes with a full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services and PSA/DNA. From The Stewart Berkowitz Television Treasures Collection.
