Pacific Rim (Warner Bros., 2013), Charlie Hunnam "Raleigh Becket" Screen Used White Jaeger Drivesuit.
Description
"Would you rather die here, or in a Jaeger?" - Marshal Stacker Pentecost (Idris Elba) - Pacific Rim
Pacific Rim (Warner Bros., 2013), Charlie Hunnam
"Raleigh Becket" Screen Used White Jaeger Drivesuit. Charlie
Hunnam's screen-worn white Jaeger Drivesuit he dons as Raleigh
Becket, featured in the opening sequence of Guillermo del Toro's
Pacific Rim. This lightweight armor is seen during the
mission with his brother Yancy (Diego Klattenhoff), in which the
two defy orders-with fatal consequences for one of the brothers.
Measuring 75" x 27" x 13", with a helmet measuring 9" x 10" x 9",
the suit was custom-built using a 3D scan of Hunnam and fabricated
to his exact specifications. The high-shine painted white finish,
chipped metallic detailing, and heavily armored styling reflect the
Becket brothers' bold, bruising style and devil-may-care attitude.
Constructed over an elastane-blend bodysuit, the armor components
include collar, epaulets, chest plate, bracers, knuckle plates, hip
bolts, quad plates, codpiece, and knee pads-all finished in
weathered white and silver. The plastic and acrylic helmet includes
internal LED lights and a magnetic closure, with light separation
visible on the left side of the helmet "bowl." The left gauntlet
shows minor splitting of the urethane components, and the rear
rubber spine has partially separated from the fabric undersuit. The
suit exhibits deliberate production distress, including loosening
of the kneecap armor and general surface wear, the rear helmet
tubes appear to have been severed after production. Displayed on a
custom mannequin with a 30" x 24" metal base. Comes with a COA
from Heritage Auctions. From the personal collection of
Guillermo del Toro.
