Arnold Format 2900 (Yellow) Wind-Up German Tin Car with Original Box (Arnold, 1950s). Manufactured in the U.S. Zone of Germany during the 1950s, this Arnold Format 2900 wind-up tinplate automobile reflects the company's postwar output of mechanically driven lithographed vehicles. Measuring approximately 10 inches in length, the car is constructed of printed tinplate and finished in yellow, with a stylized two-door coupe body and integrated driver and passenger figures visible through the windows. The model is commonly associated with the Format 2900 designation within Arnold's mid-century catalog and features a wind-up motor for self-propelled operation.
