Enlarged and framed original photograph by Bart Nagel, Serial #1/1, signed and numbered by the artist. After learning that Frank Zappa's legendary "Baby Snakes" guitar was heading to auction, Nagel located the original backstage photo he captured of Zappa holding the instrument (see lot 58207). In conjunction with this rediscovery, Nagel created this exclusive, one-of-one enlarged print, prepared specifically for this auction. As both the original builder of the Baby Snakes guitar and the photographer behind this image, Bart Nagel offers a rare convergence of craftsmanship and artistry.
