1963 Fender Precision Bass in stunning Fiesta Red, a rare and desirable custom color. This example appears to have received a factory refinish, with correct color and white undercoat visible-consistent with documented Fender factory refinish and return (R&R) work. The neck is dated 5OCT63C, and the pots date to the 50th week of 1963 (3046350). Solder joints appear professionally done and may be factory. Markings inside the body include "2617" etched into the neck pocket and "F RED" etched beneath the pickguard, indicating Fiesta Red custom color. Comes with its original white tolex Fender hard case.
